Commercial kitchen timers
Every batch. On time. On one iPad.
Next Stop Timer turns the iPad you already own into a commercial kitchen timer for rice, fries, sauces, holding and cleaning — built and tested in a busy Winnipeg restaurant.
Then $29 CAD/month per location. Cancel any time in the App Store.
Built for the line, not the office
One tap to start
Cooks tap the food photo. No typing, no menus, works with gloves.
Many batches at once
Tap again for a second batch. A ×2, ×3 badge shows what's queued.
Loud, clear alarms
Blue, green, yellow, then flashing red with an alarm when food is ready.
Bluetooth speakers
Send alarms to a speaker so the whole line hears them.
Works offline
Timers run on the iPad and stay accurate if Wi‑Fi drops.
The iPad you own
No hardware timers that wear out in a year. Just your iPad.

Why we built it
Built by a restaurant owner, for restaurant owners
Next Stop Timer started in a busy Winnipeg kitchen, where a row of clip-on timers kept beeping, dying and getting lost. We wanted cooks to see every batch at a glance and hear the alarm over the fryer — so we built it for our own line first.
It still runs on that line every shift. Every change on this site was tested during real service before it shipped.

Common questions
What is Next Stop Timer?
Next Stop Timer is a commercial kitchen timer app for iPad. Cooks tap a food photo to start a preset timer, and several batches can run at once. A loud alarm sounds and the card flashes red when the food is ready.
How much does Next Stop Timer cost?
Next Stop Timer costs $29 CAD per month for each location. Every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial.
Can I cancel during the free trial?
Yes. You can cancel any time before day 7 from your iPad's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, and you won't be charged. Apple handles the trial, billing and cancellation.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Timers run on the iPad itself and use start and end times, so they stay accurate even if Wi‑Fi drops or the screen is locked and reopened.
